3 Coins in the Fountain

Yes, we tossed our coins in the Trevi Fountain
in Rome... hoping for a return trip...and wishes
do come true!!! From Venice and Florence, to
Rome, we saw the amazing ruins of the
Roman Empire, framed by rolling Tuscan Hills.
We dined on pasta laced with the freshest olive
oil, and drank cappucinos, frothed to perfection.

We marveled at the beautiful, stylish Italian
women and gorgeous men. (or I did) And when
we stopped one young man to ask for directions
he dropped his Italian accent and said " I'm from
St. Louis, living and working here"...he had us fooled.

Land of OZ

In the fall of 2004, Carson and I went to Australia
and New Zealand in search of Crocodile Hunters
and Hobbits. We found cuddly koalas, lazy kangas,
and monumental red rocks... Ayers.
We found THE Party Tree...the very tree where Frodo
and Gandalf watched Bilbo disappear.
And then we dined with a very scary looking
Maori native...well, he didn't scare me.

JAPAN 2003

Carson and I say that this was our favorite trip.
Japan is just the easiest and most comfortable
country to travel in. From seeing Tuna for sale in
the Tokyo fish market ( our sushi dinner)
to searching for anime and manga, (every teen
loves this Japanese art form), Japan seemlessly
blends the ancient with the future.
The scenic is of a beautiful garden in Kyoto.
